Consuelo's Strengths for Ministry  
 
God gives me strength to be able to minister His comfort and compassion to others...it is amazing to me how He placed strenghths in me even before I was born!

I read an interesting book as part of our Community Leadership Team called NOW, Discover Your Strengths.
As part of the book we were able to take Gallup's Strengths Finder Profile.

The Signature Themes report below displays my five most dominant themes of
talent, as indicated by my responses to Clifton StrengthsFinder, The Gallup
Organization's Web-based talent assessment tool.

MY SIGNATURE THEMES:

Responsibility: People strong in the Responsibility theme take psychological
ownership of what they say they will do. They are committed to stable values
such as honesty and loyalty.

Learner: People strong in the Learner theme have a great desire to learn and
want to continuously improve. In particular, the process of learning, rather
than the outcome, excites them.

Achiever: People strong in the Achiever theme have a great deal of stamina and
work hard. They take great satisfaction from being busy and productive.

Connectedness: People strong in the Connectedness theme have faith in the links
between all things. They believe there are few coincidences and that almost
every event has a reason.

Intellection: People strong in the Intellection theme are characterized by their
intellectual activity. They are introspective and appreciate intellectual
discussions.

This book and the results from survey have encouraged me tremendously and revealed that some of the very things that I thought were negative about myself can be used and considered to be strengths for ministry!
