Our Story  
 

We’ve all heard it: a perfect song that comes on the radio and makes the world stop around us. We breathe more deeply than we have in a long while, and something in us opens up. Whether our perfect song is sung by Willie Nelson or U2, music connects our hearts with our souls.

Over the first five years of marriage, Erica and I prepared to step into full-time ministry as musicians who are trained to tap into the “heart music” of people. Then, God gave us a wonderful opportunity to do just that. A door opened for Geoff to join Youth With a Mission (YWAM), one of the largest missions agencies in the world. YWAM invited us to pioneer a music ministry in the Philippines developing “heart music” that communicates God in culturally relevant ways. We lead and train musicians who travel and perform in many different venues throughout Southeast Asia. YWAM has been established in the Philippines since 1971, and we partner with many of their existing ministries.

We were very excited and humbled that God opened this door, and we relocated our family to the Philippines in August of 2007. Since then, our opportunities have grown as Erica has begun training partnerships as the Southeast Asia cooridinator for Heart Sounds International (Operation Mobilization) and as consultant for groups like Wycliffe Bible Translators.

We are responsible for raising 100 percent of our budget in order to operate successfully, and so we depend on a team of men and women who will cover us in prayer and funding.
