It is my joy to recommend "A Cup of Cold Water." I have known the author, Debbie Rottier for 20 years. Much of that time, she worked closely with me, leading out in the area of hospitality--hosting kings and dignitaries; children and the masses--and doing it all with excellence.

Deb has travelled widely, practicing hospitality and teaching on the subject in a broad variety of contexts and cultures of Africa, Europe, Asia, North America and the Pacific. She has a love for the nations, a love for people and a heart to serve that is imparted through her writing. The book provides a very practical basis for hospitality, not from a western viewpoint, but from a Biblical inter-cultural perspective.
