Mobile teams  

As a missional community we are dedicated to serving God within every context He leads us into, though we have a special emphasis on urban missions and ministry, the fastest growing mission field in the world.  As a result, our staff live in the community we serve, choosing to live our lives alongside the people of the community, not as "professional" do-gooders, but as fellow humans who have been touched by a grace we long to share.

In addition to the ministries, training and programs we run, one of our deepest passions and callings as a ministry is to serve as a bridge, making a way for other Christians to get involved in serve God in His purposes.  To that end, we would love the opportunity to come and visit your church, youth group, and/or Bible study to share with you in more details who we are, what we are doing and how you might get involved.

Our presentation can be focused on areas of specfic interest for your group if you so desire, and can be changed in length to fit any time slot, short or long.  Our hope would be to share with you the exciting work we are doing through:

• Mission Adventures: This dynamic program offers short-term training and outreach experience with long-term impact.  From inner city program right here in Winnipeg to international outreaches in Thailand, Kenya, South Africa and more, we custom build the outreach to your teams needs.  As one of the fastest growing ministries in YWAM International, the Mission Adventures program is a must.
• Discipleship Training School (DTS):  This 5 month intensive in spiritual and missional formation, includes 3 months of powerful discipleship for the mind, heart and body.  Offered in the heart of Winnipeg's West End, students will integrate in one of the city's most culturally diverse, yet poor neighbourhoods.  The next 2 months are spent on an international, cross-cultural missions service outreach, where students will begin to explore the implication of what they have learned beyond simple application.  You will never be the same again after this once in a lifetime experience.
• Community Outreach: Whether it be through YWAM, another agency or just a group of friends, we want to challenge your group to find ways to step out of your comfort zone and find ways to creatively and passionately serve God.  Be it in your home town, a local city or on the other side of the planet, God wants you to join Him in His work to reach the world with His love and Good News.
