The Dusty Cover  

We are excited to announce that in the coming year or so, we hope to open doors to this new missional venture- a used bookstore in Winnipeg's historic West End community.  As a non-profit, our goal is not to rake in the money, but rather to create a missional third space for the neighbourhood and the city, a place for reading, hanging out, learning and building relationships.  Not only that, but we will offer great books at great prices in an comfortable environment- oh, and there will be coffee.

In addition to the regular bookstore activities, we want to use the space to serve and minister to the community, offer reading programs for inner city kids, book drives for/with the local schools, training opportunities for people ministering in the urban context and much more.  In time, as our network of relationships grow, we will follow God's leading into whatever He would have us do from there.  Over the next few months, we will continue to collect books, make prepations and keep you posted as we move towards our grand opening.

We need your help!  In order for this to take off, we need a steady flow of donated books- books of all varieties (please no Harlequin or Readers Digest Condensed- ok, so not "all varieties").  If you are in the city, we will come and pick them up for you.  By donating the books, it allows us to not only keep the prices low, but invest all profits back into the community and ministry.
