Faith Evangelical Seminary

January 08 2011

David is scheduled to teach Old Testament theology for the Korean Division students of Faith Evangelical Seminary on Jan. 8th, 2011.  David is teaching this class in a seminar format.  Please pray that this seminar will help develop David's students as adequate Bible interpreters.

Olympia Hanbit Church

January 12 2011 - January 12 2011

David has been invited to speak at Hanbit Presbyterian Church in Olympia, WA.  Hanbit Church has been a very faithful partner with DCMI.  Please pray that the Lord will give David His word for Hanbit Church and that He will use David to encourage this congregation.

Good Shepherd Baptist Church

January 16 2011

David spoke on fulfilling the Great Commission at Good Shepherd Baptist Church's Sunday morning service.  Many people responded to God's call and gave their lives to live as missionaries where they are. 

Ethiopia Evangelist's Conference

January 31 2011 - February 04 2011

Jan. 31-Feb, 4, 2011, David will hold an Evangelist Conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.  We have invited Ethiopian Ethiopian national evangelists whose ministries have been proven fruit-bearing to this historic conference.  In spite of all the hardships of life, limited resources, and often persecution, these evangelists have faithfully proclaimed Jesus as the Savior and Lord.  We certainly pray that this conference will lift up their spirits and polish their skills for more effective harvest of souls in Ethiopia. 

This conference will cost $19,000 and the Lord has already met our financial need.  He is an awesome God and I sincerely thank you for your selfless support in a time of financial instability.

This is the first conference of this kind ever held in Ethiopia to develop Ethiopian native evangelists.  Please pray with us for the participating 200 evangelists.  These evangelists are looking forward to this conference.  Pray that their plans to attend the conference will not be interrupted by unexpected events and that God will renew their spirits during the conference.  We claim Ps. 68:31 in our prayers, “Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God."  Please pray with me for the conference speakers as we have international speakers coming from Africa, Europe and the United States.   

Gisenyi, Rwanda Pastor's Conference

February 07 2011 - February 12 2011

After the Ethiopia evangelist conference, David will fly to Rwanda to hold a pastor's conference in Gisenyi.  This conference will be attended by the same group of Rwandan pastors who attended David's last conference in October 2010.  Please pray that through this conference, the pastors of Gisenyi will catch a new vision for evangelism and discipleship.

Research

February 20 2011 - March 30 2011

David has set aside this time for in-depth research to write articles for Dr. Wayne House's House Study Bible.  Please pray that David will focus his time and energy on his research to produce quality articles.

Faith Evangelical Seminary

March 14 2011 - March 18 2011

David is scheduled to teach "Old Testament Exposition II" in a modular format.  Please pray that both the professor and students will concentrate on the word of God this week.  Pray also that David's students will learn to understand the Old Testament texts against the backdrop of their specific historical setting.

Evergreen Baptist Church, Jackson, MS

Evergreen Baptist Church of Jackson, MS, has invited David to lead their annual Spring Renewal Conference.  David feels so indebted to Evergreen Baptist Church for their partnership with DCMi for the past six years.  Please pray that the Lord will speak to the hearts of the church people through David's ministry.

Faith Evangelical Seminary

May 07 2011 - June 03 2011

 David is t  eaching Elementary Greek 1 and 2.  In Elementary Greek 1 David's students will learn basic Greek grammar.  In Elementary Greek 2 David's students will learn a little advanced grammar and have the opportunity to practice translating various New Testament Greek texts.  Please pray that these students will be developed as competent Bible expositors through their education.

David was invited again to speak at the Community Church of Federal Way.  In celebration of Father's Day, David spoke on the Good Shephard from Ps. 25.

New Jersay United Presbyterian Church

June 24 2011 - June 26 2011

During this weekend, David will preach revival at the New Jersey United Presbyterian Church.  Instead of holding an old fashioned revival meeting, David is planning to carry out a meaningful conversation with the his audience from the pulpit.  This conversation will hopefully lead the congregation to think where they are as a church and to clarify where they should go as a local body of Christ.

Intensive Research for Africa Ministry

In the whole month of July David will prayerfully research for his upcoming ministry in Africa.  Please pray that God will give David a serious of messages for his August meetings in Africa.

Ethiopia Evangelist Spouse Conference

David has invited some 300 Ethiopian evangelists' wives to three different three-day conferences in Ethiopia.  Please pray that the Lord will renew the spirits of these evangelists' wives and refresh their commitment to the Lord through these conferences.

Kenya Gospel Festival

August 18 2011 - August 21 2011

David will hold an evangelistic Festival in Kenya in conjunction with the evangelist Wesley Paul. Please pray for God's anointing on David's message. Pray also for preparation and follow-up.

Gisenyi Pastor's Conference

August 22 2011 - August 26 2011

David will be holding a Pastor's Conference in Gesenyi, Rwanda.  This is David's third conference in Gisenyi and David will continue to develop the 50 pastors of Gisenyi.  Please pray that God will continue to mold these church leaders for more effective ministry.
