It is an exciting journey into the Fatherheart of God to get more intimate and entrusted with God. The YWAM slogan "To know God and to make him known" is also the centre of this school. You will ... hear about God and hear from Him yourself ... share in small-groups ... pray and serve together with others ... get to know international cultures ... and especially have the chance to talk to someone and grow in your faith! The next DTS ... is from January 14, 2006 - July 7, 2006 You can call or write to the DTS-Office in Hurlach (address below) to receivce an application form. If you want to be part of a later school you can do so from September 2006 - March 2007.

Lecture-Phase The first part of the school is a 3-month lecture-phase. Teachers from all over the world will cover topics like: > The Fatherheart of God > Understanding and applying the Bible > Passion for Jesus > Vision and calling > Worship > Prayer > ... and much more! Part of the lecture-phase is also a "Mini-outreach" in Germany for one week. The DTS is also ministering to the local area of Hurlach by doing practical work and outreaches every week. In all that you, as a participant, should and will have opportunities to get to know God better and experience discipleship on a very practical level.

Outreach phase The second part of DTS is an international outreach. For 9-10 weeks you will tell of what you realized, understood and learned. To do that you will learn dramas and dances and how to approach people in a good way to tell them about Jesus. Outreach is a challenge, because some circumstances are ... different than you might be used to. But you will experience God on a very personal level and how He is working on the whole earth and changing people, like He is changing you! On outreach you will make God known and understand even more of who Jesus is. The latest outreach destinations were: Mexico, Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, England, America, Russia and Mongolia. The next outreach is going to ... I would like to know that as well! This time is full of stories about God who does very unexpected and almost unbelievable things! Faith is getting real in this phase and it prepares you as well to live your faith also "at home".

Tuition fees This is what a DTS costs in Hurlach: Lecture-phase: 1.950,- € Outreach-phase: ca. 1.900,- € Accomodation, meal and travelling costs are included in the tuition. The costs for outreach depend on the price for the ticket and the country you are going to. You have to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30,- € with your application.

University of the Nations The DTS in Hurlach is part of the UofN (University of the Nations). That means that you can get credits for your graduation programm in the UofN. A completed DTS is usually a condition for every other course in YWAM. You will find more information on the phone or at www.uofn.edu.
