What's b2b?

Normally a 2-week leaders training programme for all young potential leaders. The course includes all the usual DTS staff training content as well as giving broader training for team leaders.

Who should attend b2b?
It's an intensive time set aside for anyone who wants to have their leadership potential explode into reality! It's designed for those who have a desire to grow as a leader themselves in order to equip others. Whether you have just completed a DTS or been on staff in a DTS, or on staff in some other capacity, you are welcome. Come to grow, come to go!

What's involved in the training?
The b2b training will give you practical steps to develop you as a leader. There will be an interactive teaching style utilised, with many types of groups used for maximum learning. Peer cell groups, mentoring groups with experienced leaders, one to one help in dealing with issues, times of worship, ministry and experiencing God together. Altogether it will add up to a leadership experience that will impart values as well as lots of content.

What are the key themes?

* The starting point! - my passion for God
* Me as a leader! - how your personality and gifting work together with others to produce dynamic teams
* My character as a foundation! - seeing some of the qualities necessary if we are to follow in Jesus' footsteps
* Learn specific skills in leadership and mentoring
* How I can help others to grow! - basics in being mentored and mentoring others
* My task in getting the job done! - the skills and anointing needed to develop an effective team
* How I can disciple through cells! - cell principles, practice and planting

What could be the next move?

* Stand alone course - from here you could go back to your local church, YWAM ministry better equipped to "be the leader God wants you 2 be"
* Training for DTS - small group leaders could use this course for developing their leadership before heading into DTS staff roles.
* Launching into ministry with a YWAM team or local church
We would like to see a small team of students from every DTS pioneering a new wave of ministry among postmodern young people, working alongside local churches, with youth groups, among the unreached. Small group leaders could go into a DTS with a vision of recruiting a small team and be launched into ministry. Young potential DTS graduates from here and abroad, could come straight to b2b and have a quick start through this leadership training. This course could be a one off training for young leaders but our aspiration is that b2b will be the means of multiplying teams of on fire young people into the nation who will evangelise, disciple and encourage mission in the churches of the nations.

What's the deal for the week?
To experience the delights of YWAM community, eat the food prepared by servant YWAMers, stay up all night due to the stimulating fellowship and input.
