For generations, the legend of “Sasquatch” has intrigued the world.  Does this “bigger-than-life man-ape” really exist in the remote forests of California? As evidence, all we have are a few fuzzy pictures and film, some emotional accounts of close encounters, and of course, footprints in the mud so large that Sasquatch has received the well-deserved nick-name:    “BIG-FOOT!”

Now, a BIG-FOOT has been discovered in the concrete jungle of inner-city Bogota, Colombia, but instead of terrorizing the countryside, it’s helping abandoned and mistreated children come back to life!

Actually… this BIG-FOOT isn’t a Sasquatch man-ape at all.  Rather, it’s a bigger-than-life, 13 inch by 13 inch, square foot of land and building comprising what is known in Bogota as “THE OTHER WAY,” an inner-city ghetto children’s rescue center.

“THE OTHER WAY” is actually both a house and a nearby auditorium / recreation center. It’s surrounded by needy children… some living on the streets… some in close-by cardboard and tin shantytowns… some in the houses of prostitutes living in the very same neighborhood. These kids need a safe place to play, have breakfast and lunch, enjoy learning, and most of all… experience God’s love.

That place, for the past 20 years, has been a very old and very small “OTHER WAY.”  Now we will have a newer, bigger, nicer “OTHER WAY” that lets us reach 4 times more kids than before!

But, how are we going to pay for it?  Here’s the plan:  Kids helping Kids Change Forever!   Yes, kids will buy the OTHER WAY!

We have drawn up a floor-plan of both buildings and divided it into squares.  There are 4,697 squares, each a tiny bit bigger than a square foot. Each measures 13 inches by 13 inches… literally, BIG-FEET!

If we can find 4,697 children who will buy just one BIG-FOOT each, we will have paid off the two buildings, repaired them, remodeled them, and put them to much better use for the children who are abandoned, mistreated, and un-loved.

How much does it cost to buy a BIG-FOOT and help change a kid’s life forever?   30 US dollars. Or… 15 British pounds.  Or… 60,000 Colombian pesos.  Or… 25 European Euros.

That’s all? That’s all!

• You could buy yourself a new video game… or you could buy a BIG-FOOT!
• You could pay for half a day at an amusement park… or you could buy a BIG-FOOT!
• You could take your family for just ONE teensy-tiny meal at a fast food restaurant… or you could buy a BIG-FOOT!
• You could buy one new tennis shoe… or, you could buy a BIG-FOOT!
• You could get a month’s supply of candy-bars… or, you could buy a BIG-FOOT!

When you buy a BIG-FOOT, you are helping change a child’s life forever!  Helping another child makes YOU even WARMER, and FUZZIER, and  BIGGER…  than SASQUATCH himself!

Be one of the 4,697 very special kids who change another kid’s life forever.  Remember, just ONE BIG-FOOT can make a BIG-IMPRESSION in the life of a needy child!
