Prayer Requests  

Your prayers are extremely valuable for us.  We are at war against principalities and strongholds.  God has a great future and hope for each child and family that we come into contact. Satan however wants to destroy families, youth and children.  We need your prayer support to win the battle for each ones life.

Below are listed prayer requests from the different areas of the ministry. (April 2008)

Friendship and Trust

• That the team would clearly hear which streets, God is leading them to minister in and for key contacts with community leaders who will give permission  for the team to enter safely.
• For the salvation of the community leaders and families.
• For more Colombian staff to join the team.

The Other Way

• The material needs of the house,especially for the equipment to look after babies. 
• For the team to operate in unity and each member in his or her gifts.
• For the finances to be able to operate efficiently.
• For committed full time Colombian staff and the personal finances of these staff.
• That the finances would come in for the Big Foot project, that God would provide before the deadlines in June and December 2008 to purchase the Other Way building and the auditorium.

Light and Life School

• Most of these children live in the ghetto still and are influenced by the life there. Pray that what they learn in school would help them to become a positive influence in their community
• There is an urgent need for a Colombian trained social worker, speech therapist and occupational therapist for the school and ministry in general. Please pray for the funds to employ them and that they would be anointed and called by God to work in their respective area.
• Pray that there would be a full team of dedicated teachers  for 2009. Pray that they would be gifted and anointed by God for this role.

• Pray that all of the students that need to attend this school would be able to enroll in January.

 The Oasis

• Pray for the process of reopening this phase of the ministry. Finding the staff and training them, finding a house and the finances needed for it to operate.

The Restored Heritage

- Kiwi house:

• Pray for the adoption process of one of the children, that it would be finalized.
• That the children would be consolidated in their faith.
• That the right new children would enter into this phase.
• For an extra staff member.

 - The Vineyard House:

• Pray for the provision of water so the farm can become self-sufficient.

• For the staff needed to help

• run this part of the ministry.

- The Chamo House:

• For full time employment for the parents of the children in this house.

• For God's protection and grace for the two families that are in the process of been reunited permanently.

 - Building in process:

• Pray for the funding and workers needed to finish the building and furnishing of the next re-parenting house (called The Oaks) at the farm.

The Eagles’ Program

• For an apartment for the young men and another for the young women plus the people to lead this program. There are guys and girls who are at this stage of working or tertiary studying but who are not yet ready to be independent.

• Pray for Spiritual growth and the ability for these young people to stand firm in their faith as they leave the shelter of the minister
