Welcome to the counselling training section! My name's Brad and I'm a member of the College Committee with responsibility in the area of counselling training. Part of that role at the moment includes managing this section of the college's web site. This is your site. We want it to serve you, the school leaders, ministry leaders and staff of YWAM and the University of the Nations whose ministry is in the area of counselling and health care. The purpose of this section is to specifically support those of you involved in counselling training and ministry. My heart's desire is that we will work together to support one another as we work to fulfil God's calling on our lives. This forum provides on opportunity for doing that. Here we can discuss issues of interest and importance, get to know one another and what we are each doing and share resources which God has provided to us in our ministry. There are many of you who are doing an amazing job. But we are often isolated and working on our own limited resources. We can be far more productive if we communicate our needs and share what we have discovered. Each of our individual journeys can hold keys that will benefit us as a whole. My own passion is in the area of developing tools and approaches that improve the quality of the training that we are delivering. In doing that we also improve the quality of those we are sending out to do God's ministry. The end purpose is to be excellent in all things for God so that His Kingdom can grow and so that individuals and communities can come into stronger relationship with Him.
