What's happening in Modesto...

Sometimes a mechanic has a broken down car for months on end. A landscaper's yard is a bit of a disaster, and the calender page of our web-site is left undone. While that should be taken care of as soon as possible, we have been too busy to transcribe from our day planners to this page. but since we're here now... here we go:

We are working to continue in our faithfulness to what God has called us to be here in Modesto. We are learning to cultivate (And be changed by) the friendships that God has brought along our way.

Life is good.

A few highlights...

JANUARY:
John & Rhiannon got hitched, we all rejoiced.

FEBRUARY:
We hosted three teams within two weeks. A Lot of excellent things happened in that short time. God is always busy and a little crazy, so why shouldn't we be?

MARCH:
We helped host a comfirmation retreat for a local parish church.

April:
We geared up for the guys to go to Thailand and hosted a local youth group outreach.

May:
Jimmy and Aaron had a great trip to Thailand, we helped organize a good sized inter-church youth outreach and got to take our Saturday kids club to a baseball game.
