Every year an estimated 60,000 new immigrants move into Chicago. Nearly half of those are from the world's least evangelized nations. We [Youth With A Mission Chicago] and Global Roar Ministries have just finished putting together a 31-day prayer guide for Chicago's ethnic communities, highlighting 31 different nations represented in Chicago from the 70 least evangelized nations of the world. The guide gives significant information concerning these ethnic groups and specific prayer points for their community in Chicago.

For the past 15 years we have been working alongside several ministries in Chicago's diverse north side to reach out to these significant people groups. Many of them have unique needs and challenges affecting their openness to the Gospel. The hope is that this prayer guide will help to mobilize awareness, prayer and involvement towards Chicago's immigrant peoples.

We invite you to join other churches and ministries around the Chicago area in choosing a month in 2008 to have your congregation, groups in your church or prayer groups pray through this guide. We would love to make as many copies available to you as you need. Several churches and groups have already prayed through this guide in January and even more are getting ready to do so. Join the movement!
