APRECOM
APRECOM is a abbreviation stands for: AIDS PREvention Community Outreach Ministries. APRECOM exists to provide material, spiritual and social support to people living with HIV/AIDS and their affected families. We exist to mobilize and train community members and the body of Christ to prevent the spread of HIV. We want to use every opportunity to bring awareness of the needs of children who are at risk of contracting HIV. Our vision is to build families through discipleship to give hope to children.
From the beginning of APRECOM, we have reached out to over 200 people infected with HIV and even more who are affected by HIV. Counseling is offered to any person who need as well as having a support group once a week for the clients to gather together for fellowship and encouragement. Food is distributed every two weeks to a number of the clients who are in need. Assistance paying for medication is offered to those who are considered necessary.
