Opportunities 

We have LOADS (!) of opportunities in all of our ministries for short (min. 3 months) and long-term placements from anyone that has completed a DTS, and we welcome all inquiries.

We have many staff needs at this moment! Please pray and consider if you can be a part of serving God in Rwanda. We need:

• Teachers for our community based pre- and primary school

• Skilled man or woman for our community based vocational training school

• People with a heart of ministering to people affected by HIV Aids, Orphans, Street kids, Prostitutes

• People with administration and/or accounting skills

• People with a heart of communication

• Fundraiser

Requirements to obtain a 1 or 2 year missionary visa in Rwanda

1.  Valid passport for at least one year from the date of intended arrival in Rwanda.

2.  Police certificate/letter from where you have stayed for at least one year prior to your intended arrival in Rwanda stating all offences (if any).

3.  Letter of confirmation from a YWAM base in your home country, stating something similar to the following: 'We confirm that ..................................(your name) is a missionary with our organisation here in YWAM ..................... (put your home country) and that he/she is going to work with our sister organisation YWAM Rwanda for a period of at least ..............years.  Both organisations are Christian non-profit missionary based.  Therefore, we cordially ask you to extend to her a 1 or 2 year (put as required) missionary visa.  etc., etc.'

4.  The equivalent of FRw 200,000.

5.  8 passport-photos

Before arriving in Rwanda you need to bring all of the above with you!  Additionally, please contact your nearest Rwandan embassy/consulate to obtain a short-term visa of 1-3 months whilst your visa application is in progress.  Some nationalities are able to get a 3-month visa free at the airport on arrival (most European and North American countries).  However, you should confirm this before arriving at the airport!
